Peter Solomon recently joined Momentum Renewable Energy, Inc., a project development subsidiary of David Evans and Associates, Inc. Momentum's vision is to become a recognized leader in renewable energy project development and a catalyst for innovation in the energy industry. As Vice President, Peter is responsible for identifying and developing renewable energy projects, focusing on wind energy.

Peter has 10 years of experience in the energy sector in business development, finance, and operations. Prior to Momentum, he managed Safeway's energy portfolio and led the grocery chain to become the second largest corporate purchaser of green energy in the nation. Before Safeway, he worked for Calpine in the US and UK. Peter also has experience managing acquisitions and development projects in the U.S., Europe, and Latin America.

Peter holds an M.A. in International Economics from Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies, where he served as a Brody Graduate Fellow, and a B.A. in International Relations from American University.
