Momentum presents at national American Wind Energy Association Conference

Dan Heagerty, President of Momentum Renewable Energy, recently spoke at the national AWEA conference in Pittsburgh, PA. about barriers to community wind development and how to overcome common development, finance,  and turbine/interconnection challenges.  The presentation also included a case study regarding Momentum’s current efforts with John Deere Wind Energy and local partners to develop community wind projects.  View the presentation.

Jessica Morrison, business development manager for Momentum Renewable Energy, also gave a poster presentation on behalf of parent company David Evans and Associates regarding wind integration into the grid.  The poster was co-presented with Diane Broad from TriAxis Engineering.  View the poster.

Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers announces $100 million “green technologies” initiative

Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB) – a leader in providing relationship and venture capital SM services to entrepreneurs – announced a new $100 million initiative in “green technologies”. According to KPCB XI Partner John Doerr, "Entrepreneurs are passionate about pursuing clean and affordable water, power and transportation. David Evans and Associates, Inc. launches renewable energy project development subsidiary February 14, 2006

PORTLAND, Ore. – David Evans and Associates, Inc. (DEA) today announced the launch of its new wholly-owned subsidiary, Momentum Renewable Energy, Inc., to provide technical, financial, and regulatory knowledge to help landowners, developers, and investors accelerate energy projects from early development through construction.
